Perl Code Editor
Help Topics
The Perl Code Editor is designed to help
the Perl programmer to edit and print Perl source files. Most of the procedures
for using the editor should seem familiar if you have used other Windows-based
text editors. With the Perl Code Editor, you can:
-
Create source files for different perl requirements,
including standard perl files (.pl), cgi perl files (.cgi) and perl modules
(.pm).
-
Perform find and replace operations.
-
Customize the Perl Code Editor tabs.
-
Modify the font style and size.
-
Select lines, multiple lines.
-
Manage the source window.
Tip While using the Text
editor, in many instances you can click the right mouse button to display
a shortcut menu of frequently used commands. The commands available depend
on what the mouse pointer is pointing to.
